What is Meow meow?
Meow meow also known as Miaow, MCAT, 4MMC ,
Drone and Bubbles but it is really mephedrone.
This drug is currently a Catagory B drug.
It is chemically quite like amphetamines (Speed). It is a stimulant
which is what MDMA (Ecstasy), Speed, and Cocaine are, so it can
have effects like these do. It is often used as plant food, so has
never been tested on people or even animals. So it could be very
harmful.
Why do people take Meow
meow?
Like MDMA and cocaine, it’s been said to
bring on feelings of happiness, and makes it more easy to stay
awake, and dance for longer, and feel sociable.
How is it taken?
Meow meow is sometimes taken in pills or capsules,
but is often snorted as a powder like cocaine is. Snorting any drug
can damage the inside of your nose, and if bank notes or
straws are shared there is a risk of contacting blood-borne viruses
like hepatitis.
What are the risks to the heart?
- Drugs that speed up your body like meow
meow, can make your heart rate and blood pressure go up. This can
make the chance of you having a heart attack, stroke, and
dying more likely.
- Drugs like meow meow can cause
heart rhythm problems, sometimes these can be
dangerous.

same time, including leading to death.
- Drugs like meow meow can affect your
brain and cause panic attacks, depression, anxiety, and
paranoia – paranoia is where you get panicky and think

aggressive and in some cases can cause mental health problems such
as psychosis – this is when you lose touch with
reality and become very mentally unwell,
needing urgent psychiatric help.

coma can happen because of the effect of drugs like meow
meow on your brain.
